WHAT IS QIGONG?

Qigong is a mind/body exercise that teaches how to relate to the body in a way that can transform you. It is an ancient Chinese practice devoted to enlightening the body, heart and mind. Qigong is considered one of the Five Branches of  Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture, Energy work (Qigong/Tai Chi,) Massage, Herbal medicine, & Chinese dietary medicine). It's a form of meditative and mindful exercise that has proven to improve balance, flexibility, lower stress and improve quality of life.

Qigong is easy to do, can be done seated or standing, can be done by people of all ages and all abilities. It can be practiced by everyone. It just feels good and no one ever says they wished they wouldn't have practiced their Qigong.

Qigong is made up of of two Chinese Words. Qi (CHEE) refers to the "life force energy" that flows through us and everything in the universe and Gong, pronounced, GUNG, which translates to the skill one develops with consistent practice.
